101 Hindley St, Adelaide SA 5000
Augnablik, formerly Parsec, is a little bit of retro down Hindley Street way. Next to the Woolshed of all places. You won't find too many bogans devouring delicious vegetarian food here, but hipsters and hippies and creatives and writers, no doubt. What makes this place really special is that Format Collective, that mad bunch of Adelaide creatives, live upstairs. It's a good place.
Food, all vegetarian. Interesting stuff too. Take the tacos for instance. House-made shells brimming with colour and vibrancy - slaw, mushrooms, fried eggs, herbs galore, avo, and other delicious stuff. Breakfast - or brunch or lunch - done right. Haven't sampled the coffee, but I have no doubts, is good. No wine or beer at this stage, but you can enjoy a cheeky cocktail. Espresso Martinis, Bloody Marys, the classics.
There is definitely WiFi - house WiFi too; none of that unreliable city-issue stuff. There is probably a power point or two lurking around the place. On a recent lunch visit, the place looked well suited to a meeting with a client or the team. You could probably get away with a Skype call in the corner.
