31 East Tce, Adelaide SA 5000
Mismatched furniture? Check. Vegan-friendly? Yep. Tattooed staff? You betcha. Bambi's Kitchen, down to the playful name, has all the characteriatics of a cafe you'd find in the inner north of Melbourne. But instead, it's in the East End of Adelaide.
Food, at the time of writing, is centred around a simple but interesting breakfast and lunch menu. Think bacon and eggs, eggs Benedict, and then throw in Cajun chicken breast, and sweet potato and lentil patties for good measure. The coffee is sound (by Degroot), there's teas, smoothies, and juices for the uncaffeinated, and a little birdy tells us dinners and liquor are on their way.
This place is fuelled by AdelaideFree WiFi which was reliable on our recent visit. There's a couple power points downstairs, under the bench. A busy brunch place, don't linger too long and be sure to order a plate of something for your visit.
