E for Ethel is Etsy in cafe form. Heck, on our recent visit even the car parks at the front had been reclaimed and used for outdoor dining. You mavericks, Amanda and Dan!
Menu is short, sharp, and sweet and distinctly aimed at early dining. Mostly breakfast dishes. If you're vegan or vegetarian, Ethel has you covered. If you're a sweet tooth, you're covered too. The coffee is well executed using De Groot (Port Elliot, South Australia) beans. Need a last minute gift? Ethel is also part shop, selling a range of handmade stationary, jewellery, clothing, and homewares.
There's house WiFi - none of that AdelaideFree stuff - for which you'll just need to ask for the password. There's a lone power point on the right hand wall for the freelancer with a dodgy laptop battery. Best of all, the kind folk at E for Ethel are very accommodating of the remote worker - they like the creative buzz it gives the place. You'll feel right at home.
