246 Rundle St, Adelaide SA 5000
Opens at 11:00am
Mightn't be a cafe, it's a pub, but The Exeter on Rundle Street a damn fine place to get some work done in our book.
The crowd here is eclectic - hippies and hipsters, tradies to folks in suits. The beer is basic, with a few crafties for good measure. The wine is local, good, and cheap. And the food nourishing and generous. Apart from a Friday or Saturday night, you can generally carve out a far corner for yourself to concentrate and work.
There are oodles of power points, the WiFi is AdelaideFree but reliable. Our go-to especially if an afternoon beer is required.
