Situated next to smart design firm, Frame, on Gilbert Street, Paddy's was a pivotal part of the maturising of Adelaide's coffee scene. And what more could you want in a noteworthy coffee establishment than for it to be run by a talented chef who knows his way around sourdough, avocados, and ocean trout? No one trick pony, this lot.
A warm and inviting place, the guys and girls at Paddy's will remember your order each time, so you can keep your mind on the job. The space isn't anything fancy - it use to be a rather boring shop space - but the guys have snazzed it up just enough to make it a place conducing to sipping good brews.
A top spot to work over lunch - yes, you have to go for the food - or to shoot the breeze with a new client. It's not a huge space, but the tables are ample so you can spread out.
There's no WiFi but there are several power points around the place to keep your laptop juiced up. An ideal spot to get a bit of writing done or for an informal meeting with a client.
